Seven ways to help

How you can get involved

General environmental information

Everyday actions anyone can take

You do not need to join an organization to help nature. These simple ideas are general good practice, not a list of Green Hearts activities.

Plant and care for trees

Choose trees that suit your area, and water and protect them while they are young. Indigenous trees are often a good choice.

Protect water

Keep litter and waste out of streams and drains, and look after springs and riverbanks near you.

Keep learning

Read about forests, water and farming in our Journal and on the Our Work page.

Share what you know

Talk with neighbours, family and schools about why trees, soil and water matter.
